Liu Du (warlord)

Liu Du was a minor warlord during the late Han Dynasty period of Chinese history.
Around the time of the Battle of Red Cliff (208), he was serving under Liu Biao as Grand Administrator of Lingling Commandery (in present-day Yongzhou, Hunan). Following the battle, Liu Bei marched against the four southern commanderies in Jing Province, and defeated Liu Du.〔Chen Shou, ''Records of the Three Kingdoms'', chapter 32, p 879. This brief reference is the only historical record of Liu Du.〕
